Youth Employment Program
We create jobs for young people facing barriers to work. With hands-on training, and stable employment, we set them up with careers that get both them and us excited. Good stuff, hey.
Young people are more than twice as likely as older people to experience unemployment with a range of barriers to entering the labour market. With the support, training, and real job opportunities we provide, they’re building confidence, gaining valuable skills, and creating strong networks — setting them up to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Our Youth Employment Program (YEP) uses a work-first approach, offering jobs to young people aged 18-28, with adult wages alongside tailored coaching and support.
Across our four commercial divisions and central services team, we are able to offer jobs that they have personal choice in to match what matters to them.
Our team brings together experienced staff and young people, working side by side to get the job done safely, while developing technical and transferable skills that create positive change for them and their community.Â

Since 2013, we have provided employment and training pathways to over 780 Young People.
A combination of long-term employment and support builds confidence, stability, and networks, enabling young people to continue to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

As a registered charity, 100% of our profits support opportunities for young people through employment in future-focused industries.
