“Fixed up my bike brakes and pointed out a few things to be careful of in the future. They took my bike in the morning and I picked it up in the afternoon, great same day service.”

— John H
“I found this place on Google looking for a bike store near work. It is now my default store. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and provide “A” grade customer service. If that isn’t enough for you they also do a lot of work with young unemployed.”

— Lex S
“I’ve had nothing but good experiences with these guys over the years – whether it be just dropping by for advice or leaving my bike for service. They’re friendly, competent and when they say they’ll follow something up and get back to you, they do just that.”

— Rob H
“Great bike shop and close to Southern Cross station. I had some tricky wheel issues they fixed for me… great value and did a great job. Highly recommended.”

Whenever you book a Commuter or Gold service online, we’ll throw in a year’s worth of free RACV Bike Assist. This means if your bike runs into trouble while out on the road, RACV will be there to help you out. We think it’s a pretty sweet deal!

Good Cycles provides convenient on-site servicing to participating buildings across Melbourne’s CBD. Ride in on the service day and your bike will be running smoothly and safely for the commute home.

Bike servicing starts at $77 with a typical service costing between $80-$120. This could include replacement parts such as brake pads, cables and inner tubes. Any major work or more expensive parts will be discussed with you before our mechanics proceed.

If you would like a regularly scheduled on-site service to happen at your workplace, school or club, get in touch with us by clicking the button below, or download this info pack on Mobile Servicing for more information.

Fixing bikes at an event.

Good Cycles offers general tune-up mornings to help your building’s riders stay safe. One of our expert mechanics will come to your facility and spend the morning tuning up as many bikes as time allows, with a focus on safety and assessment.

This service is costed out at $350 (+ GST) for one mechanic. This covers around 20 bikes. Our mechanic will be in the bike parking area to meet and receive bikes in the morning as your building’s riders arrive.

Book your office in for a one-off group bike servicing day. Get in touch to arrange a date and we will set up a group booking link which you can share with your colleagues. All bikes will be serviced on-site, with work completed by the end of the day.

We also offer mobile bike servicing for events, especially those with a focus on sustainability, community and education. Our availability is often limited, so we suggest getting in early!

Alongside our extensive servicing options, we also run bike maintenance courses. From short courses about fixing a tyre puncture to full bike mechanics, check out our Courses page to find one that suits.
