If your dad is a keen cyclist, or even just a casual rider, then you’re in the right place.
At Good Cycles, we’re more than just a bike store. In case you haven’t read our story (which we encourage you to do), we are a social enterprise, meaning all profit from our store and servicing workshop goes back into our social programs. These programs work with young people – those who are unemployed, underemployed or come from disadvantage – to help them build the skills, confidence and networks to transition into ongoing employment.
The upshot is, choosing a gift this Father’s Day from Good Cycles does more than put a smile on your dad’s face, it goes a long way towards creating a better future for a young person who needs a helping hand.
Ready to do some good? Here’s our pick of gifts to suit all budgets:
A gift card. Have no idea what your dad actually needs or wants? Join the club! A gift card is the easiest way to make your dad very happy and do some good at the same time. Our gift cards can be used on any of our products in-store or for bike servicing.
Bags and panniers. Your dad’s a commuter and has lots of… stuff. He needs something to carry it in that looks good and will withstand the unpredictable Melbourne spring. Ortlieb has him covered. We’ve currently got up to 50% off the entire range until 31 August (in-store only), so get down here quick!
A phone mount. We reckon this is probably something your dad doesn’t have and actually really needs. Quadlock’s Bike Kit will hook up any phone type securely and neatly to the handlebars so your dad can use GPS or Strava with ease.
A new bike. Maybe your dad’s regular bike is no longer up to scratch, or maybe he just doesn’t have one yet (a bike-loving dad without a bike? What?). We’ve got some great deals on our range of Avanti and Focus commuter bikes right now, so you’ve timed this perfectly.
Gloves. It’s still chilly out there and these Sealskinz gloves are great for any activity, not just bike riding. They also look cool and – with their touchscreen compatible finger pads – your dad can still post dad-jokes on Facebook without having to take them off!
